Suffolk County Real Estate Trend

It has been reported by the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island that the inventory of homes on the market in Suffolk County has increased 70% from Septmeber 2004 to Septmeber 2006.

We have to educate our seller’s and help them to see what is happening in the real estate market.  It is important for the Salesperson to show a seller what is on the market in their area.  Show the prices and the # of days these other homes have been on the market.  If they want their home sold it needs to be priced better than what is around them.  Being competitive is NOT going to get their home sold BUT being priced RIGHT will start the selling process off on the right track.
