"I recieved a phonecall from HGTV. They wanted me to pick some houses in West Islip for their show (Hidden Potential). When I took their production crew and design team for a tour of my sleepy little hamlet they were amazed! I started with a tour of some typical 3 and 4 bedroom homes in the 400-425K price range, followed by lunch at Cafe Mojo, and a ride over the Fire Island bridge to Robert Moses State Park. Needless to say after seeing "Ed Ryan’s West Islip" they were all hooked on our town. The producers and designers all stated "I want to live here and I want to buy a house from Ed Ryan". They truly loved the way every one knew eachother, we were in Cafe Mojo on Higbie Lane, and Tom Francoeur (owner of Towers Flowers) came for lunch, he brought all the girls roses. They are all coming back in late July to film an episode of "Hidden Potential" and are very excited about having lunch at Cafe Mojo and going to the beach when they are done. No Doubt it will be the best episode ever."
