Make Your Move an Easy One

Moving to a New Home is an Exciting and Rewarding Experience. If You Plan Ahead You Can Take Much of the Stress Out of Moving Day.

Here are Just a Few Ideas:

  • PRE-PLAN- Have Your Moving Supplies (Tape, Boxes, Labeling Markers, etc.) Ready and On Hand Before You Begin Boxing Your Belongings.
  • When Packing, Do So Room by Room- *Tip: Label Contents of Box. Make Sure You Place Your Labels on the Side of Each Box, So When They are Stacked You Will Be Able to Identify Where the Contents Belong.
  •  *Tip. Save Your Back. Using Many Small Boxes is Always Better than One Large One. They are Easier to Carry and Maneuver Around in Your New Home
  • Pack and Load the Most Essential Items Last So That They are the First Off the Moving Truck and Into Your New Home.
  • Remember to Contact Your Utility Company to Activate the Utilities in Your New Home and Transfer Account to the New Owners of Your Old Home.
  • *Tip- It is Difficult to Move Into a Home With No Heat or Electric.
  • Don’t Forget Your Plants. Make Sure They Are Not Exposed to Excessive Heat or Cold.
