KRISTINA and JAMES NETTER

Of Netter Real Estate and Bridgewater Funding

James and Kristina Netter

James A. Netter established Netter Real Estate over thirty years ago after training and working with his father.  He was born in Brooklyn, moved to Levittown and then West Islip, where he lived and established his business, Netter Real Estate.  Since then Jim has created a team of real estate professionals that together make up a powerful sales force.  His unique management, and sales and training abilities are what separate Jim Netter and his office team from all the rest.
In 2002 after working with a myriad of mortgage brokers and bankers Jim and his wife and partner, Kristina, decided to create their own mortgage company.  They sought to mirror the success, camaraderie and family environment that have made Netter Real Estate what it is today.  Thus Bridgewater Funding was born!
Jim has dedicated his time to make Netter Real Estate and Bridgewater Funding the best that they can be.  He keeps himself and his sales team up-to-date on current practices in their business by ongoing training and informational programs and conferences.  He is licensed to sell real estate in New York and Florida and is licensed to grant mortgages in New York, Florida, Connecticut and Georgia.  He is also committed to helping others.  Currently, he sits on the board of the Family Service League, a not-for-profit organization that helps individuals, families and communities in need.  Netter Real Estate has sponsored a house tour for the past three years to help raise funds for the Family Service League.  He is the past president of the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, consisting of 28,000 local realtors.  He sits on the board of directors for the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, The Budget and Finance Committee, MLS Technology and Services, Field Issues Task Force, the Long Island Board of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service Audit Committee.  He has earned numerous awards for the time he dedicates in helping to make a difference in the real estate industry.  Jim always donates to local charities and schools and is also an active board member of his local communities in Oak Beach, Long Island and Longboat Key, Florida.
You know the saying, "Behind every great man is a great woman."  Kristina Netter has been working alongside Jim for the past eighteen years.  Through those years Netter Real Estate has grown from six to sixty-five salespeople.  Bridgewater Funding, established in 2002, now consists of twelve loan specialists and combined administrative team of ten.  Kristina diligently works to ensure that both companies are operating successfully so that their sales team can focus on sales.  She is a licensed Real Estate Broker and is actively involved in her community.  Kristina is a committee member for the Family Service League House Tour, Volunteers at her son’s school, St. Peter’s by the Sea, and is on the community welfare committee in Oak Beach.  Most importantly, Kristina is dedicated to making a happy home for her family!

Jim, Kristina and Cory reside in Oak Beach, where they enjoy the quiet, laid back lifestyle of sun, sand, water and boating.  It’s not always about business.  Jim’s pride and joy are his four children, family and friends.
