Today is Martin Luther King Day, the day our nation set aside to honor the man and his Dream of how we as Americans should treat one another and how America should be and the steps he took to make that Dream a reality.  It is so important for all of us, in every walk of life, to ensure that his words and deeds don’t die in the years since his passing.  At Netter Real Estate, we try to live Dr. King’s dream every day.

Dr. King was outspoken about the simple pride a person should take in honest work.  He once said, “If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. It’s no secret that Netter Real Estate has supported the Long Island Ducks since their inception.  For the past 10 years, we’ve watched the Ducks play some of the finest minor league baseball from our season tickets behind our home team’s dugout.  We love seeing QuackerJack’s crazy antics up close! 

Do you know what we feel the greatest benefit is to being a season ticket holder to the Long Island Ducks?  The ability to share the simple pleasure of watching America’s pass time with our clients, customers and other VIPs that we’ve come to know.

Now, because Netter Real Estate has been a supporter and season ticket holder for the LI Ducks from their very beginning, we are in possession of 8 tickets to the August 21^st’ Marquis Jet Flyers versus Road Dogs exhibition softball game, being held at the Long Island Duck’s home, Suffolk County Sports Park in Central Islip.  What’s so special about an exhibition softball game?  The Road Dogs feature none other than the Jonas Brothers on their team!!!  This is truly the hottest game of the summer…and it’s being played right here in our own back yard!  How cool is that?

Tuesday, June 30, 2009 The Netter Family Enjoyed Their Annual Softball Game at West Islip High School.

The Teams Were the Mets vs. Yankees and the Yankees Won with 11 to 10 after breaking the 10 to 10 tie in the bottom of the 9th.

It Was a GREAT Game!
